Mixed feelings about this
The location was wonderful! Staff were friendly albeit not overly helpful. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious—a nice retreat.
Housekeeping was inconsistent. I had to call for fresh towels. The bathroom could use upgrading. the shower felt dated.

Friendly staff made the check-in process easy.
Sadly, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The carpet was dirty, and I found a used drinking cup on the floor upon arrival. We had to call multiple times for fresh towels and cleaning during our six-night stay, which was not expected.

We hit the local scene for some fresh veggies and killer seafood, which made the meals a delight. Plus, the staff were friendly and our check-in was smooth sailing. The location was also spot-on, just a hop from the Anacortes waterfront.
But, the stairwell had a musty vibe and the room smelled a bit like mildew. It could definitely use an update, but it had that charming old motel character.

Spacious room with great amenities
I stayed in a King Room for 3 nights, and I appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room. The access to the nearby highway was super convenient for my travels, and having a microwave and fridge allowed me to prepare my own meals easily. However, I did find the housekeeping service lacking, as I had to request fresh towels during my stay.

We spent time kayaking and hiking, and even did some shopping in La Conner village nearby. Just a heads up, housekeeping could use some work. you might need to ask for fresh towels. Overall, it was a great trip!
We had to call for fresh towels and room cleaning during our stay. it was a little annoying since we expected better service.
